Assisting with Pharmaceutical Formulation and Development

We consult about all aspects of pharmaceutical formulation and development. CRISM Therapeutics has extensive resources, including a wide selection of remixers, available for our clients to develop and create new formulations.

Remixing and Extrusion

We offer remixers and extruders of various sizes, including the smallest commercially available twin-screw extruder (7.5mm, 15:1 L/D) in the UK. This allows for samples as small as 3 to 5 grams to be processed and permits easy and cost-effective development of new formulations and the rapid screening of polymer and API blends.
Furthermore, this process is followed by producing pre-production batches for scale-up and technology transfer on a 10mm, 40:1 L/D twin-screw equipped with various feed and take-off arrangements.
